Baiona 1943 - AI Campaign -
This project was developed for Verve Creative as part of the promotional campaign for the Arribada Festival in Baiona, which commemorates the historic arrival of the La Pinta caravel in 1493 following its return from the Americas. The goal was to visually recreate the town of Baiona as it might have looked in the 15th century, using artificial intelligence as the main tool for image generation. Through a series of sequences, an imagined version of the town was brought to life, blending historical references with a cinematic aesthetic. The final spot introduces this reconstruction with a playful, self-aware tone, warning viewers that it is not a strictly accurate depiction. Intentional inaccuracies were included—such as the presence of buildings that did not exist in the 1400s, including the town hall, which was actually built in the 18th century. The audiovisual piece closes with a clear invitation to the audience: “You’d better come see it for yourself.”
