Meigas

This project originated from an invitation by MITO AI to gain early access to their AI-powered audiovisual creation platform. Working within an integrated workflow — from concept development and storyboarding to final video editing, assisted by the Director agent — made it possible to streamline the creative process and focus more clearly on visual storytelling. "In all of us" explores the Galician popular imagination through a contemporary lens, using the figure of the meigas as a symbol that exists between the ancestral, the superstitious, and cultural identity. Through an atmospheric, cinematic aesthetic, the piece investigates how AI can reinterpret folklore and collective memory, aiming for images and scenes that feel organic and poetic, rather than overtly “artificial.” Thanks to MITO AI for the opportunity to access the platform and take part in this phase of creative experimentation.
